How fitting is it that it is Women’s History Month?

Although I'm involved in many organizations outside SoundSync, I'm writing to you as a board member of Girls Rock Austin, one of my favorite music non-profits in town, to humbly ask for your participation in this year's Amplify Austin fundraising campaign.

I volunteer my time on the board of this organization because I feel like it's important to empower girls, trans and non-binary youth through music education, mentorship and self-care. GRA has always been a grassroots organization. Even a small donation like $5 can make a huge impact, especially during a time like this. The organization has gone above and beyond this year in organizing Operation Lunch Box which feeds food insecure families who are within our music community.
